This was composed in April 2003 prior to the invasion of Iraq. The source sounds were all taken from news reports/ speeches related to the imminent invasion - many taken from National Public Radio broadcasts. The point being to twist the barrage of words into the sounds of War, to show the relationship between the reporting of war and War itself.
